I’ve reported and produced two episodes for 99% Invisible. One was about how the packaging of an R.E.M. album in the early ‘90s made it one of the most politically important albums of all time – Roman has cited this at times as his favorite 99% Invisible episode. The second story was about the famous purple dinosaur jerseys the Toronto Raptors introduced to the NBA and how technology radically changed uniform designs in the league during the 90s. This episode ran again a year later as the Raptors won their first championship — not saying they won because of the episode…but you know…
